We finally made it to the farmer's market early enough to snag some peas. They were amazing steamed for just a couple minutes with some fresh mint from the garden - a classic combo, but a first time for me. Definitely not the last!
We used to eat them right out of the pod. Drove my aunt niuts. She'd send us out for a bucket and we'd come back with maybe a handful. The rest were in our tummies.

Oh, how I love fresh peas! These look very yummy. Don't you love this time of year with all the fresh veggies?
