Seasons Change in Denim

This bag has been a long time coming. I worked on the embroidery & applique a month or so ago, and it took a while to really decide what to do with it. I love how it turned out though. The bag is an over sized tote bag made from a sort of patchwork denim.

I had a lot of fun taking pictures outside. It just seemed right for this one!
Here is a closeup of the embroidery...

On a side note, I tried out some iron-on velcro for this project. It works great! A little spendy, but its perfect for those projects where you decide you need a little velcro but its too late to sew it in.

The interior of the bag has a large pocket made with one of my all time favorite fabrics that is rather quickly disappearing from the stash.

Anyway, if you want to see more, check it out in the shop.

Sweet! Denim is one of my favourite fabrics and combined with the lovely bit of embroidery and the pretty, cheerful fabrics you chose for a lining, this bag is a charmer. Nice job, Roxanne!
