The Shalom Cardigan

My first grown up sweater done! I started this back in January while we were on vacation. I've only had about 3 inches to go to finish it for about a month now. I always do stuff like that...

Anyway, it's done now. Not perfect, and it doesn't fit perfectly, but I think a good first attempt. The pattern is pretty straight forward. It is knit from the top down, which is wonderful because you get to try it on as you go. It's a great motivator to keep knitting!

Very bad self-portrait. Those things are so hard to make look good. But, there you have it.

P.S. This was knit using Lion Brand Cotton-Ease held double.

It looks great!!! The first adult sweater I made was for my mother and I used a cotton blend and the thing weighed about 20 lbs!! LOL

It looks good on you. :)
