By the way...zoom in on the skirt. The bottom of the skirt is the selvedge edge of the fabric! No hemming = 10 minute skirt!!

Hello - yes, I am alive. Super busy trying to clean my house to prepare for new windows (yay!) and get ready for a birthday party this weekend. I thought I was so smart to plan a party at the lake (cheap entertainment, right?) but failed to realized ALL party paraphernalia would have to be transported to the lake as well. A packing/prep nightmare! But you only turn the big 0-3 once right! Anyway, just wanted to pop in and say hello and show you this...I did get one thing checked off my list.

Very darling! My daughter is also turning 3 this weekend and I bought a shirt to make for her too ... maybe I could fit in a skirt too! :)

I planned a party at a park like that once, totally not thinking about how we would need to bring EVERYTHING! It was extra work, but very fun. Hope your weekend turns out great!

So I'm only five months behind on this comment... :-) I was just back-reading your blog, and I think our girls must be almost exactly the same age, because my daughter's third birthday party was that same weekend. (birthday is the 10th) How fun! I'm enjoying catching up on your blog!
